Liaising with a large variety of clients, I provided copywriting assistance, media recommendations and general advice to ensure my clients ran the most effective recruitment campaigns possible. Not only finding the highest number of applicants but the best quality applicants for their role. With digital advertising being a passion of mine and an extremely effective method of advertising, I honed skills in social media advertising including targeting, designing adverts and analysing metrics for continuous performance.I championed the launch of Tiktok advertising across our Australasian teams, learning to load adverts, providing internal training, educating clients when it is applicable to use in campaigns and other tasks such as setting up pixels. Operations Manager
-
Jun 2020 - Dec 2020
Keen to learn more about yet another aspect of the business, I took on the opportunity to be the Operations Manager for one of the largest MECCA stores in Auckland. In this role, I managed a small team to ensure the store was operationally compliant, the merchandising was appealing and supportive of self-shopping and the overall customer journey was seamless. I worked with the Store Manager and Floor Manager to provide an exceptional customer service, uphold company policy and procedure and roster to be online with KPI’s. I managed the store inventory, conducting regular stock takes, and ordering of testers and office supplies. This was in invaluable experience for me, but I realised my heart was keen to move away from retail and explore other passions. Show less

CFC Supervisor

Apr 2020 - Jun 2020
During the COVID lockdowns I was twiddling my thumbs at home, desperate to get back to work when I was offered the opportunity for a secondment at the MECCA warehouse. I quickly learned to pick and pack online orders, receive in stock, take stock counts and train my new team (also on secondments from store) in these areas. It was a great opportunity to learn new skills and gain an understanding of how another aspect of the business worked. I particularly enjoyed the challenge of keeping a team motivated during a strenuous period of time and in a new environment. Show less

Entrusted with a team of between 35-55 team members at any given time, I worked closely alongside the store manager to foster a strong team culture, built on a foundation of communication, education and encouragement. We drove sales and KPI’s through a multitude of methods, ensuring we engaged the team in our efforts by understanding each team members motivational factors. With quite a young team, it was an incredibly rewarding experience to encourage and see their development and progression. I built individual training plans and organised training in areas they were interested in. On top of managing the customer experience through the store on a daily basis, with rostering the correct number of staff and monitoring the customer journey in real time, I organised and hosted international artists from brands like Dr Dennis Gross and Hourglass, to provide amazing events for our customers. This was an incredibly multi-facets role where I learnt a lot about team management. Show less
