• Provide high-level, accurate and tailored assistance to members on a range of complex workplace relations matters, including: redundancies, termination of employment, employment contract issues, performance management and general protection disputes among others; • Provide supervision, training and coordination to other advisors in dealing with more complex enquiries;• Write articles on workplace relations matters and contemporary employment issues for publication in member newsletters, e-bulletins, and web-services;• Update and maintain all relevant Intellectual Property including award wage tables, workplace templates and guidelines in line with statutory and legislative changes; • Provide reports to the Workplace Relations Director on issues and enquiries of major industry concern;• Cultivating, developing and maintaining relationships with external government stakeholders including the Fair Work Commission and the Fair Work Ombudsman;• Building and maintaining relationships with workplace relations contacts from other employer associations such as the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry; • Provide fee-for-service work to members on complex matters requiring consultancy;• Represent members before tribunals including the Fair Work Commission;• Work co-operatively with the Workplace Relations Director to co-ordinate with and participate in the delivery of key events, training seminars and programs as may be directed;• Ensure team members are provided with regular updates in contemporary workplace relations developments and legislative or regulatory changes.
