I've been working with Aryan for 2 years and I've had the opportunity to get to know him well during this time. From the very start, Aryan has demonstrated exceptional dedication. He is sharp and seamlessly transitions from an academic to a professional environment. At ASAR, he works on IndoHealMap. This is a flagship project where we are building a geodatabase of over 700,000 public and private healthcare facilities in India. Aryan conducts complex geospatial and statistical analyses using Python and R. Leading his small three-student team, Aryan is responsible for data wrangling, statistical analysis, visualization, and communicating the findings to the broader group. His sophisticated programming abilities impressed me as he quickly and independently learned R to write robust programs that applied geostatistical concepts to solve real-world problems. He is working on creating high-resolution access-to-care maps for rural and urban regions to estimate the disparities. These would be the first such estimates and have a high research value and policy impact. Working on these research manuscripts and scientific presentations, Aryan demonstrated a good grasp of academic writing and presentation skills along with the ability to fluently multi-task, attributes that are necessary across domains.

Aryan worked as intern(3 months internship) with me on one of the project for Enterprise Automation Platform in Capgemini. He is quick learner, great team player and passionate to learn new technologies. During his tenure he picked up the work assigned to him within short period carried out analysis and implementation with good quality. He is good in technologies like Python and is very keen to enhance his learnings in Data Science space. He is also very hardworking, flexible and demonstrated great degree of commitment for the tasks assigned to him. He is great team player, confident and posses good communication and presentation skills.
