With over a billion people, India has no lack of issues and opinions. However, individual and public opinions may not always be well informed. We believe that public discourse driven by evidence and values is the only way ahead for a better India. Ethical and rigorous research creates that evidence and media of any form bring it to the people. At ASAR, we research problems that have direct societal implications and are, sworn to communicate them to the people. We primarily aim to create and communicate evidence for shaping public ideas to influence better policies.
