  With a greater significance being given to practical knowledge in today's world, OPUS-- the Training and Placement Cell, brought an opportunity for the undergraduate students to gain some hands-on experience with 'SAMARTH'–Internship Fair 2019, organised on the 19th of October 2019, from 9:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. A total of of 20 companies and NGO's came in campus, and provided the students with internship opportunities — both paid and unpaid. The Fair invited registrations from students of… Show more With a greater significance being given to practical knowledge in today's world, OPUS-- the Training and Placement Cell, brought an opportunity for the undergraduate students to gain some hands-on experience with 'SAMARTH'–Internship Fair 2019, organised on the 19th of October 2019, from 9:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. A total of of 20 companies and NGO's came in campus, and provided the students with internship opportunities — both paid and unpaid. The Fair invited registrations from students of all courses, from other colleges of the University and from other universities as well. It saw an active participation from the students, and a footfall of 400-500 was recorded on the day, and the event saw participation from some of the eminent colleges of the university, like SRCC, Gargi College, Miranda House, Kalindi College, etc. Some of the top companies and NGO's that visited the campus were Sharekhan, Economic Times, Decathlon, and Umeed. The profiles being offered were HR, Psychology, Content Writer, Business Development, Travel Sales, Digital Marketing, Photography and Videography, Management Trainee, Sports Leader, Teacher Assistant, and many more. Many had their first times giving interviews on the 19th, and said that they were nervous, but everything went well. Dr. Sonali Jain, the Teacher Co-ordinator, OPUS, played a great role in concluding the Internship Fair in a smooth and successful manner.
