OPUS, the Training and Placement Cell, Bharati College, is a budding student-driven professional body formed in the session 2017-18, which strives to bridge the gap between students and recruiters, and bring various career opportunities to students. It is headed by Dr. Sonali Jain, the Faculty Coordinator. Fo the same, the Cell organised its first ever Internship Fair— SAMARTH'19 in October 2019, with a total of 20 Companies and NGOs offering internships to students—Sharekhan, Economic Times, Decathlon, Impetus HR Consultants, IGIA and Umeed being some of the eminent ones. The fair accepted registrations from students of other colleges of the University, and of other Universities as well. AARAMBH'20— the Job Fair was organised by the Cell in February'20, with a motive of getting final year students of Bharati College started in their careers. The fair invited some prominent names like Genpact, Arvind Fashions, Bogatchi Chocolates, and Sparta Telecom, amongst others, offering an average package of 3 LPA. The companies offered jobs in the fields of Marketing, Business Development, International Customer Service, Fashion Consultant, Banking, Operations, HR, Finance and Accounting, and more. In addition to the career fairs, the Cell also welcomes various companies and organisations to provide internship opportunities to students throughout the year, and has also hosted a few on-campus recruitment drives. The Cell, in collaboration with MTV, had hosted an internship drive in Jan'20 where students got a chance to intern with companies like Ajio, HCCB, LinkedIn, Swiggy, and Xiaomi. OPUS doesn't only provide students with job and internship opportunities, but also prepares them for multiple career avenues. For the same, the Cell has organised training sessions, workshops, seminars, and webinars on topics like CV Building, Cracking an Interview, Business Communication Skills, Higher Studies in Abroad, etc. in collaboration with institutions like CQS Training, O. P. Jindal
