Lead Toba in creating and presenting poster to scientists and non-scientists. Assisted, read and submitted her final report write up. Inspecting manufactured goods to ensure they meet customer requirements. Production of Sensititre Antimicrobial Susceptibility Test (AST) plates in aseptic conditions.Working with teams of 15-20 to meet company targets of manufacturing 12,000 test plates a day.Proficiently following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to manufacture reagents, buffers, media and ancillary solutions.Elected for production of media as it is one of the most complex procedures.Inspection and cautiously weighing of 280+ antimicrobials in different masses.Managing of raw materials required for batch production and consumables stock levels.Taking the initiative to develop and improve procedural performance and lab workspace. For example, creating a freezer map where 16 reagents are stored for easier allocation. I assisted with the laboratory onboarding services by introducing, welcoming and training new colleagues.Calibrated and validated scientific instruments such as Gilson Pipettes, dispensing pumps and pH meters.Completing batch documentation accurately and without errors.As an H&S Representative, I attended regular meetings regards the safety of colleagues and work environment and reflected outcomes to 20+ colleagues.
