Where to start!?! It is impossible to think of the Pacific Northwest and world-class sales reps without thinking of Mike. Scratch that. It is impossible to think of the Pacific Northwest and world-class people without thinking of Mike. Mike had been an excellent point of contact for me during his time at Apartments.com. He always made sure that my properties and team were taken care of. What I think made him stand out is that he never asked for us to sign up properties, but he did ask what we needed to ensure these properties were successful. Need a new leasing agent? Call Mike. Need a referral for a great maintenance worker? Call Mike. Needed to remember where you parked your car after an awesome happy hour the day before? Call Mike. Mikel has a natural talent for building relationships with clients and has an excellent ability to understand their needs. Being a 3rd party management company, we had to tailor our approach to budgeting differently with each property and Mike knew exactly how to help with each one. During my tenure, I began working with smaller local accounts and then promoted to major regional Real Estate Accounts. - As an Account Executive I worked closely with advertisers to plan and implement marketing campaigns in print and online vehicles. Negotiated contracts ranging from $10,000 per year to $3 Million per year, monitor client performance and contract fulfillment. - Created new adverting products to include: Downtown Living (A supplemental advertising special section that included both advertising and editorial.), Eastside Living (Special Section), Green Living (Special Section). Due to advertiser interest and successful inventory sell-thru, these sections they became permanent quarterly sections generating over $4.5 Million in incremental revenue. - Advertising Sales Person of the year 2001, 2003, 2006, 2008, 2011. Real Estate Sales person of the year 2002, 2005, 2007, 2010. Advertising Sale of the year 2004, 2006 for the best new advertising products (Downtown Living, Eastside Living, Green living) - Selected to be a Business Coordinator, responsible for mentoring Junior Account Executives to build their skill sets and development as Sales Reps. - Helped redeveloped the Saturday Real Estate Section into a tabloid format. - Maintained an at goal average of 107% per year, within the last 3 years I maintained 105% of goal in a Challenging Real Estate market and a declining medium.
