At NDA, Ms. Lentz has developed the Visual Arts curriculum for the newly established Upper School Visual Arts program. At the same time, Ms. Lentz improved the curriculum for the elective-based Middle School Visual Arts program, helping to coordinate the curriculum for the school-wide arts program, grades K-12. Daily she offers Middle Years Program (MYP) and Diploma Program (DP) as a part of the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum. - Teach grades 6-12 in a semester and year-long system on a 80-minute block schedule. - DP Visual Arts teacher and curriculum writer. - Fine Arts Chair - responsible for advocating for, advising and managing six other faculty members as department chair. - Faculty Representative of the ND Arts Society, a parent-led arts enrichment group. - Member of the Academic Advisory Council, 2017-present. - Member of the Upper School Discipline Committee, 2016-present. - Coordinate school-wide student art presentations throughout the year. - Lead faculty for the events, Evening of the Arts, DP Solo Exhibitions and Junior/Senior Prom. Ridgeview is a state certified charter school serving the students and parents of the Fulton County Schools system. Ms. Lentz taught grades 6-8, for nine week quarters touching the lives of 820 students per year. Ms. Lentz was a Teacher of the Year Finalist in Fulton County her second year of teaching (2013). She has experience teaching and supervising ESOL, IEP, EBD students as well as TAG students.
