      AUTODIA was licensed by the Greek Ministry of Culture on the 6th of March 2003 (Official Gazette 323 -18.3.2003) in accordance with Greek Law 2121/1993 regarding Intellectual Property and Related Rights. It’s the only collecting joint organization in Greece, founded and run by members of EMSE, the Hellenic Union of Composers and Authors which is the largest and most active union of Greek music creators since 1971.Since 8th June 2017 AUTODIA is a full member of CISAC, the International Confederation of Authors and Composers Societies (Performing Rights), and since 9th June 2017 AUTODIA is a member of BIEM, the International Confederation representing Mechanical Rights Societies.       Vangelis Fampas was born in Athens. He studied classical guitar from a very early age with his father Dimitri Fampas. Since the age of 16 he has been involved with composing and performing. From 1979 to 1995 he lived in New York, where he attended graduate school as he simultaneously worked full time as a composer for theater and TV. He received an MA from CUNY and he continued towards a DMA from SUNY. He has been a composer in residence with the Greek theater of NY and an associate composer for CBS and PBS programs. He has scored a good number of theater productions, fiction film, documentary, and commercial film (300+). Show less

      Icarus Festival for Dialogue between Cultures (Greek: Festival Politismikon Dialogon Ikarias) is a nonprofit international music festival that began in the summer of 2006 in Ikaria. The Icarus Festival is also a celebration of culture on Ikaria, with cultural books and albums publicized during the festival. The Icarus Festival hosts well-known artists who mostly perform original work. The Icarus Festival is a cultural travel destination in Greece that is listed in several travel magazines. The festival's purpose was to host performances by artists or groups whose music is a product of multicultural participation or inspiration. The artistic directors were Vangelis Fampas and Klaudia Delmer. 2008 marked the expansion of the Festival to include art forms such as dance, theater, photography, painting, cinema, and mythology. The Icarus Film Festival was supported by the Greek Film Center, the Mediterranean Film Institute and the cinema club of Agios Kirikos.
