  PhD student in the immunomodulation group. Research in Cancer immunotherapy with lentiviral vectors, special focus on myeloid derived suppressor cells. 1. Molecular biology techniques. DNA cloning, mutagenesis, designing, production and use of silencing RNAs ( short hairpings, micro RNAs…), western blot, PCR. 2. Production and use of lentiviral vectors for gene modification and vaccination in mice. 3. Cell culture techniques, including tumour cell lines and primary cells such as myeloid cells and T cells. 4. Cell isolation techniques for studies in immune responses. Antigen presentation assays. 5. Work with tumour and animal models (mice). 6. Flow cytometry expertise, including the use of FlowJo programme for analysis. 7. Knowledge in Baculovirus expression system. Genetic modification of insect cells and mammalian cells. 8.
