Principle coordinator for the EU-funded rural development project "Sustainable Tourism in the Telica Volcano Reserve." Responsibilities and and achievements include: Project design and preparation of proposal for European Union. The contract to implement the $230k project was one of nineteen awarded by the EU to promote rural development through tourism. Contract management and collaboration with local government. I am the principle contact with EU representatives, have assisted the Telica municipal government in the creation of a new tourism office, and facilitated an initial agreement with the environment agency regarding a framework for collaborative oversight of the reserve. Project management and monitoring. I have supervised the creation, training and registration of a community tourism cooperative and the construction of a café and eco-cabin on Telica volcano.

Responsibilities and achievements include: Founding Nuevas Esperanzas US. All individual fundraising and donor stewardship in the US. NE-US has raised over $200k in individual donations since 2009.
