Lucy joined River as a Senior Product Owner during the middle of the global rollout of a big software tool for our biggest automotive Client. We had multiple development teams and product owners on the project, and a large number of senior stakeholders from across different global regions at the Client’s end. Lucy quickly took the lead of the Product Owner teams, smoothed out multiple conflicting Client requests into a coherent backlog, and helped to steady the ship during what was a very busy and challenging period for River. Working with a diverse customer base on the i-nexus strategy execution software. My main responsibility is to manage the product transformation which has seen over the last 18 months, a total UX refresh, usability enhancements and two new product launches, taking i-nexus from a single outdated platform to a model software suite. Collaboratively lead two Agile development teams of 9 Developers and a Lead Technical Architect, the product team of 2 PO’s and QA's, a Technical Writer and a UX Designer. Together with a data development team of 2 working on AI research projects and event driven data streaming services. Key responsibilities included working with JLR on their BI - Business Performance management software. Working with their senior stakeholders from across six global regions (including China) to collate regional and global backlog requirements, together with management of commercial sprints both with customers and the product team.
