Being a project worker in the technology department, my key responsibilities are: - To ensure that the individual training needs of the trainees are met. - Trainee welfare and safeguarding-liaising with Trainee Services Manager. - To develop creative and engaging learning materials, deliver training sessions and contribute to the Project plans and their execution. - Maintenance of ICT equipment. - Communicate and liaise with key stakeholders i.e. parents, carers, social workers and V21 colleagues and board members. - Maintain appropriate records, including daily logs, progress reports, and participate in trainee reviews. - Supervise trainees and volunteers as assigned. - Play a part in developing people's potential through increasing confidence, self-esteem, making people feel valued and appreciated as individual. - Adhere to and enforce appropriate Health, Safety, Environmental legislation, and Fire Precaution requirements.   South Wales Potters is one of the largest groups of professional and hobby potters in the UK. We provide members with an opportunity to develop their skills and understanding of ceramics which become the collective strength of the society. International Ceramics Festival

  Board Director of the International Ceramics Festival, representing South Wales Potters in a bi-annual event held at Aberystwyth Arts Centre on the campus of Aberystwyth University on the mid-Wales coast. The Festival attracts over 1000 people who attend lectures, watch practical demonstrations and visit our special exhibitions over a long weekend in the summer months.
