Laszlo joint AVE Romania in 2007 (?) and started in our subsidiary AVE Harghita as a managing director. At that time the main-project of AVE group in Romania was the construction of a landfill in line with EU-requirements in the Harghita region. One of the main tasks of Laszlo was the acquisition of new clients in particular in the public sector, which meant to build up proper relationsships to the decisonmakers int he municipalities. In line with the group strategy - to grow by acquisitions - Laszlo was intensivly involved to take over a second waste-company in Miercurea Ciuc/Harghita. After the appointment as a MD of this company Laszlo together with the second MD had to organize the integration of this comoany ant the implementation of synergies between the two companiesin Harghita region. An additional crucial responsibility of Laszlo was also the development of the commercial/industrial waste business of AVE group in Romania. He succeded consequently to acquire well know multinational clients in the Cluj-region, where the business with recyclable materials was crucial. Laszlo was in charge of building up total waste management- systems, which mean the takeover of the entire waste managment of an industrial site. We appreciated his strategic thinking, the well developed language skills as well as his highly motivated work attitude. Furthermore it is crucial to mention his understanding of international business. Our main customers and stake-holders (political decision makers, mayors, governors) always highly appreciated to work together with Laszlo.
