I had the opportunity to participate in a 24 hours Case Competition hosted by Aalborg University and the case company Arla Foods. Amongst many applicants, 15 teams were chosen to participate, in a team of four students (all from different study backgrounds). Three different cases were presented by Arla Foods. We were tasked with solving a specific case, which dealt with optimizing their production and adding value to their supply chain management. It was a great experience to work under time pressure to solve the case and to find an innovative solution with people I have never worked before. Show less

I worked as an intern as a sampler, analyst and laboratory technician at Kilian Water ApS. Kilian Water ApS. is a company that design and establish planted filter systems for wastewater treatment. The company has more than 15 years experience with on-site sustainable wastewater management. They are located in Bryrup. My work was in cooperation with Aarhus University Department of Bioscience. I started my days with sampling and fieldwork, then drove to the University Laboratory, where I made the analysis of the wastewater samples. Moreover, I wrote the reports about the measurement results. I had an additional task of reorganizing all previous data from paper reports and from excel into a new collective data-set in Excel.
