Katie did an internship and her MPH project with me at Jefferson, and I have kept in touch with her over the years. She is enthusiastic, responsible, and a fast learner. She has excellent experience and a wide range of skills in research study design and implementation, including IRB filings, recruitment and program delivery, data collection and analyses, and writing. Her communication and people skills are superb. And above all, Katie is passionate and cares deeply about people and the world, and hence she can inspire and motivate others around her. She would be a most positive addition to any work environment.

As a graduate student at the Drexel School of Public Health, I was fortunate to share many classes with Katie in health policy and management. Katie is one of the hardest workers I have met. Her passion and positive energy are contagious. I learned a lot from her insightful contributions in class, as well as her extensive knowledge of prevention and management of chronic diseases such as obesity and diabetes. Katie never lets any question go unanswered, probing for detail and clarifying concepts, which I certainly appreciated as her fellow student. I am confident that anyone fortunate enough to have Katie as a colleague or employee in the future will feel as lucky as I do to be inspired by her talent and positive energy.
