Each episode has an average length of at least 30 minutes and focuses on one successful female business owner’s life and work. Among other trailblazing women, Kate recently interviewed Kerry Miller, an award-winning angel investor and founder of own her own venture capital fund, along with Elaine Kwon, a Carnegie Hall concert pianist, MIT lecturer, and business founder.

Cosmo’s Own is a unique, eco-friendly line of feline products, whose mission is to ban the unethical act of declawing. The company was launched the wake of a petition founder Kate Broug started against the inhumane declawing of cats. Declawing traditionally involves the amputation of each toe's last bone, which, if performed on a human, would be equivalent to cutting off each finger at the last knuckle. Being a cat-lover and cat-owner herself, Kate felt strongly about the cause and personally launched a petition to ban declawing in New York State. The petition eventually received almost 200,000 signatures and two months later resulted in the practice being banned in New York. During her petition work, Kate saw an opportunity to create a company that sells durable cat products, promoting healthy nails and claws and donating a portion of each sale to fight declawing in other states. Kate launched Cosmo's Own (named after her own cat Cosmo) and have been selling products ever since - including as a highly rated Amazon.com certified vendor.
