At Anna in Bhutan, we have developed an ethical scarf line based on those values. The scarves are hand-woven by talented weavers, a tradition that is passed on from generation to generation. Our weavers, mostly working from their homes, practice their craft in full respect of what Gross National Happiness stands for. All our scarves are blessed by highly revered monks in a temple, located in the green lush valley of Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital. It is believed that this blessing will bring its future owner prosperity, harmony, and good fortune.
