• A non-paid role where I was actively involved with the Universities Geography Society, having been elected as the 2016/17 Merchandise Secretary. • The role involved organising events and providing merchandise for 400+ eager society members. • While holding the position i helped organise events such as the end of year ball as well as 10+ more social events. I designed, ordered and distributed committee hoodies, 400+ member T-shirts and sports team kits. • I helped provide a fun and appealing experience for all year groups, as well as making profit for the society to host excellent social events and leave the next committee with £1000 to start the 2017/18 year. • This role allowed me to develop a wide range of transferable skills, such as interpersonal communication, public speaking and financing.
