Dr. Hebert is a very charismatic instructor. When working together, I was consistently impressed by his dedication to the success of his students. Together, we would collaborate on the information literacy skills he wanted students to learn when they visited the library; not only to learn how to find resources online, but to determine the credibility of reach resources. Dr. Hebert wants to share skills with students that help them think critically beyond the classroom. Dr. Hebert clearly and concisely communicated his expectations. Dr. Hebert's strongest quality, in my opinion, is his compassion for others. He believes anyone can learn, if they apply themselves. He is dedicated to encouraging his students to make sure each one strives to do their best.

If you are ever in need of a guide in the sciences or life, Dr. Hébert is your man. Dr. Hébert has been a colleague for over twenty years. During this time, my career has spanned the environmental, petroleum, and healthcare industry sectors. I have found Dr. Hébert's extensive knowledge, quick wit, and approachable demeanor to help me navigate these waters with success. Dr. Hébert is quick to listen, cautious to speak, and always sound in his advice. He is not merely a scientist or professor. I would say his abilities to help guide one in both the sciences and life are equivalent to a Sherpa guide amongst the mountainous regions of Nepal. Thank you, Dr. Hébert, for being you.
