The Prosthetics Event; On the Paintopia booth in the body art zone, I sold products to customers on the stand throughout the day, supporting and assisting the team, I collaborated with artist Angela Youngs to complete her Ice God creation for the body art catwalk. Angela was unable to attend the event so she painted the model's body the day before with alcohol activated paints and I completed the look by painting the face and head to compliment her design and applying her prosthetics at the event.Arts Couture Festival; This event is held every two years in the picturesque village of Painswick. It hosts competitions in various aspects of wearable art. I am one of the three judges for the body art category. This event attracts body artists from around the Uk with a student and pro category in body art. The judges must choose 1st, 2nd and 3rd place from around 20 entrants, this job involves a degree of negotiation, compromise, diplomacy and teamwork. The Media Makeup and Theatre Event; I attended this event on behalf of Warpaint Magazine. I took photos and conducted interviews with visitors and exhibitors, and wrote up my findings into a blog published by Warpaint you can read my piece here - http://www.warpaintmag.com/?s=Joanna+DelilahI am now on the event team for The media Makeup and Photography Event and will be attending the next event as the official blogger, working with the event photographers and interviewing attendees.

Creating art to cherish forever in the form of a photo of the painted baby bump. I have built a small business from what was once a hobby. I am proud to say I have painted over 100 bumps! My website is one of the first you see after google searching "baby bump painting" and I get many of my clients that way. My bump paintings have been featured in the Bristol Evening Post and on the website "I love body art".I have many testimonials on my website and some wonderful reviews on my Facebook page: Joannadelilah Makeup. It's a relaxing experience for mum-to-be and I am now in a position to be returning to original clients to paint the bumps of their second or third baby. It really is a joy to be involved in something so special.

I regularly attend industry events in various roles, often blogging/vlogging for the event's social media.Move It; Dance Exhibition at Olympia, London. I attended this event as a makeup artist representing L.A. Splash cosmetics, demonstrating their range of glitters and makeup. During the two days at Olympia, I worked on the booth, selling products and applying makeup to customers, I made up a dance team for their performance and I showcased the products at a demonstration and held a Q&A session in one of the seminar rooms.Paintopia; I am one of the key crew members for Paintopia and regularly join them at various events and promo shoots. I help to run their social media platforms in my capacity of media promotions manager. I regularly vlog on the Paintopia YouTube Channel and make video tutorials for them. As a youtuber myself, I was keen to involve the online aspect of makeup artistry and to this end, I set up a section called Online Alley for social media stars to come to the festival. I recruited 20 artists many of whom are world famous and each have a substantial following. I organised a rota ensuring the Alley had 3-4 artists at work for the two days it ran. The artists each created a makeup look whilst simultaneously interacting with their online followers on social media using #onlinealley. Our Online Alley team have a combined reach of over 2 million followers, they proved to be a popular addition to the festival and Online Alley is set to continue.IMATS; I have attended IMATS as a vlogger for Paintopia and more recently as a makeup artist representing Treasure House of Makeup. I teamed up with fellow makeup artist Kate Dowle to create a stunning bodypaint inspired by the Finnish myth Kalma Queen of the Dead. My part in the collaboration was the body paint, the headpiece and nails. Our model proved to be a showstopper and we have been asked to return to IMATS next year to paint for Treasure House of Makeup.

During my time at this popular city centre salon I did bridal makeup, makeup lessons, prom and special occasion makeup for clients. I was also able to use my creative makeup skills for photo shoots for hair competitions, the salon website, hair magazines and fashion shows. As well as being the resident makeup artist I would work on reception, this involved greeting clients, making appointments, answering the phone, customer service, cashing up and paying staff wages.
