I have had the privilege of working on the same team with Jim for almost 16 years at Compassion. He is highly detailed and organized, yet relationship building is his specialty and supersedes any task he accomplishes. He genuinely cares about people and has made it a priority to build a team of volunteers that feel cared for, listened to, and equipped in their roles. In addition, he has an amazing creative side that plays out in his writing, illustrations, and filmmaking. Jim would be an incredible asset to any team as a leader, influencer, and whimsical thinker.

Jim’s professionalism is above reproach. He is a man of great character and integrity—truthful and honest. He is extremely detail-oriented and exemplifies the definition of preparation. But the things I love most about Jim are his creativity and enthusiasm for life. He is exceptionally gifted at imagining the possibilities. This quality is on full display in everything he touches: writing, drawing, speaking, directing, presenting, creating, developing multimedia, and much more! His passion for life is infectious and he emanates a winning attitude. This quality makes working with him an utter joy. It causes him to be super approachable, teachable, and highly relational.
