  Refugee Protection International (RPI) and community-led partners respond to some of the world’s most complex humanitarian crises, including the war in Ukraine, the Turkish-Syrian earthquake, and the Syrian war’s impact in northern Syria, Lebanon, and southeast Turkey. Founded in late 2015, RPI prioritizes swift, community-led relief efforts co-designed or launched with RPI’s support. RPI staff and volunteers also do cross-border relief deliveries to Ukraine’s frontlines, and bring Syrian refugee-made crafts to the US market to support women’s self-reliance. Efforts have assisted 1/2 a million refugees, IDPs, and locals in Ukraine, Syria, Turkey, and Lebanon.
