  As a Senior Faculty Team Lead at the Leadership and Freedom Center in Gettysburg, I teach leadership and resiliency lessons learned from the battle itself, give tours and personal stories of triumph and tragedy that can all be applied to us today. I also lead workshop discussions on how to define, measure and improve teams; how to define , measure and improve leaders; creating a personalized "right now" plans for each participant so they can individually identify and select specific areas of… As a Senior Faculty Team Lead at the Leadership and Freedom Center in Gettysburg, I teach leadership and resiliency lessons learned from the battle itself, give tours and personal stories of triumph and tragedy that can all be applied to us today. I also lead workshop discussions on how to define, measure and improve teams; how to define , measure and improve leaders; creating a personalized "right now" plans for each participant so they can individually identify and select specific areas of greatest opportunity for growth right now. We also create individual resiliency "pyramids" that assist each person in reaching their full measure and staying there through victories and defeats. Depending on the courses requested we also discuss the effects that perspective has on our attitude and preach the Davy Crockett creed of "making sure you are always correct, then go ahead". This along with classes on structure and the 3 C's of leadership, as well as much more, make the experience at Gettysburg one where our attendees have time to learn, reflect, sharpen their tools, become more effective and efficient and set their new course to loftier goals.
