My goal was to support resident recovery, establishing key milestones and markers for progress. I assisted residents with key processes such as acquiring legal documents, identification, securing educational opportunities, etc. I created workshops and resources on a variety of topics, including art therapy, a Black feminist/womanist reading list, and more. Notable achievements include: • This role served as the subject of my Master's thesis, which was an ethnographic study of trafficking survivors and the common narratives during recovery. Led focus groups and engagement strategies with the residents, including collaborative editing processes. Interviewed residents, sex workers, police officers, lawyers, and other support workers as part of the research. Conducted a literature review and narrative analysis. Show less
