The remit of the AIW group is to represent the interests of the Welsh aquaculture industry through lobbying, fundraising, raising the profile of the industry in the community, etc. in order to further the expansion of the industry in a sustainable and economical way with focus on industrial partnerships and collaborations. Alongside colleagues from within the Welsh aquaculture industry, I have assisted in the formation of a not-for-profit industry focused body.
