Welcome to the official linkedin page of The Welsh Conservation Centre Of Excellence project. We hope to reach out with this page and provide the general public of RCT and beyond with further updates of how the project is progressing, so watch this space! The proposed site would be the Tower Colliery on the outskirts of The Brecon Beacons. We hope that this project would benefit conservation in Wales and abroad. It could provide jobs, training, education and vital tourism to our local area. Our aim is to build a world class facility, to give as much enrichment as possible to the animals living there. We would also like to provide breeding facilities so we can help in restoring numbers of endangered wildlife and also researching re wilding programmes that are currently being looked into. We need as much feedback as possible and in the future we shall be posting how the proposal is moving forward. If you would like to be involved please get in touch.
