During my secondment, I worked on a variety of corporate work, including:• Working on a mortgage sale agreement as part of an auction sale of a mortgage loan portfolio. • Assisting with the transfer of an IP portfolio out of a company that was prepared for liquidation. • Working on the cash acquisition of a publicly listed company, involving a scheme of arrangement under Part 26 of the Companies Act 2006. • Assisting with the drafting of a bank report on an acquisition agreement. • Helping finalise an NDA regarding the sale of the entire issued share capital of a subsidiary company. Drafted amendments to the agreement as part of the negotiation with the counterparty.
