True story. Da jeg (medio dec 2020) ringede til Trendhim, havde jeg ingen anelse om, hvad der ville ramme mig. Jeg fik fat i Trine, som lovede mig at jeg ville blive kontaktet af Bjørn, der var ansvarlig i afdelingen. Her er, hvad Bjørn (ordret) få timer senere skrev til mig på LinkedIn: - - - Hey Morten - du har været i kontakt med Trine fra Trendhim ifbm vores stillingsopslag på marketing automation. Jeg synes det kunne være fedt at sætte et 20-minutters kald op, og lige bounce ideas. - - - Jeg var målløs. Måske fordi jeg lige havde ringet til en anden arbejdsplads, hvor lederen af marketing lidt mavesurt bekendtgjorde, at hun ikke havde tid til at tale, men om ikke jeg kunne sende en email med mine spørgsmål – hvilket jeg ikke gjorde. Men Bjørn var helt oppe på stiletterne. Han havde dog ikke tid til en snak før jul, så derfor blev det aftalt, at han skulle ringe den 28. december kl. 10.37 Bjørn ringede på SEKUNDET, og vi havde en god snak. Jeg lovede, at der ville ligge en ansøgning den 31. december kl. 10.37. Hvad Bjørn nok ikke vidste, var at han både havde inspireret mig OG tændt en ild i maven på mig, og KOSTE HVAD DET MÅTTE, så ville jeg have det job. De næste 3 dage brugte jeg ALLE vågne timer på min ansøgning, og natten til den 31. december sov jeg slet ikke. Jeg nåede lige akkurat at blive færdig, og kl. 10.37 trykkede jeg upload. Derefter dejsede jeg om på sengen. 2-3 timer senere brummede min telefon så insisterende, at jeg vågnede. Det var en notifikation fra LinkedIn om en besked fra Bjørn, hvor der ordret stod disse 6 ord: = = = EPIC, EPIC, EPIC, EPIC, EPIC, EPIC = = = Jeg lukkede øjnene igen og faldt i en dyb og tryg søvn. Konkurrenterne var fejet af banen – og det skriver jeg ikke for at prale. Det var nemlig Bjørns inspiration, der havde tændt den ild. De næste 14 dage sendte jeg Bjørn daglige emails med tips til Trendhim's email marketing. Jeg var til et par møder. Og min mavefornemmelse af Bjørn blev bekræftet igen og igen. En lynende skarp begavelse, der ydmygt (men ikke underdanigt) giver sine kollegaer lyst til at yde deres bedste. Altid glimt i øjet. Og altid smil på læben. Som min leder var han let at tale med og aldrig bleg for at stå til rådighed med sin store viden om (blandt meget andet) data og tal. Han var også fair og altid villig til at eksperimentere og prøve nye ting af. Senere fik vi begge nye roller i huset, men heldigvis fik jeg lov til at arbejde i nærheden af Bjørn, og når jeg forlader raketten med udgangen af september 2023, så vil Bjørn følge med mig i hjertet og altid stå som en af dem, der har betydet mest for min udvikling... Uden hans inspiration, havde jeg ikke fået jobbet. Og uden ham som leder, havde jeg nok ikke knoklet og lært så meget, som jeg gjorde – både under ham og under den kompetente mellemleder, som Bjørn senere ansatte. Jeg har næsten ikke flere ord, før LinkedIn cutter min tekst. Så lad mig slutte med at citere Bjørn... - Bjørn, du er EPIC, EPIC, EPIC, EPIC, EPIC, EPIC

I have had the honor to work with Bjørn at Trendhim, and I have so many good things to say about him. First of all, I respect him, he can spot skills in people, he knows how to unfold his co-workers' abilities, and he is always there to assist you. Furthermore, Bjørn knows how to motivate and train people and how to create a great team spirit. He is inspiring, and I've never encountered something that Bjørn couldn't answer, whether it's marketing-related or how soda can tabs work.
