Infermedica develops AI tools for triage and preliminary medical diagnosis. I helped introduce "Symptom Checker", an online tool used for diagnosis and triage, to the Arab world by translating more than 50,000 words and medical terms into Arabic.More recently, I worked on translating a COVID-19 Assessment Tool that was implemented by many countries and hospitals around the world. TEDx Mimas Street is the first TEDx event in Homs and the third TEDx license in Syria. Out of six salons, I was the lead organizer for two. Leading a team of about 40 volunteers, negotiating with sponsors to get the needed fund and hosting a productive event in war-torn Syria were the main challenges.

At TED Translators, I focus on translating scientific and inspirational talks. With more than 100 translated talks (more than 1100 minutes), I was the recipient of a full grant to attend TED2020 in Vancouver, Canada. Unfortunately, and because of the corona-virus pandemic, the conference was cancelled and turned to an-online 8 weeks event between 18 May and 10 July 2020.
