***Struggling Parent*** Surviving month to month when my boys were at school. There was always so many bills to pay and then school fees as well, I always felt guilty if I could not make a payment in the month it should have been paid. ***New Government and Education*** So in 1994 when Nelson Mandela said "Education should be free for school children", I was quite taken back as I new that this was not possible. I kept thinking to myself where would this government get the money required to educate more than 10 million school children, when the money was never there in the first place. **Finding Solutions** But my mind went into overdrive and started thinking of different was that the government could come up with the funding. I came up with the idea that the government should open a casino in every major city across South Africa. **Shot Down by a Narrow Minded Person** So I went to the head of the Narcotics and gambling division @ CR Swart square in Durban (SA Police HQ Durban), to find out were I could apply for casino licenses. **A new solution** In 1996 I got involved in a Network Marketing Company, I was blown away by the simplicity of the compensation plan. If all the parents bought some of their products though the school, they could do away with school fees. About 18 years later, I came up with the solution to the education crisis in South Africa. Schools will need sports coaches and sports equipment, they will need music teachers and instruments, they will need functional libraries and librarians, computer rooms and IT specialists. We cannot only focus on children that are academically gifted. ***The Solution*** So the solution this time was to start a Network Marketing Company that's main purpose was to make sure the funds required to educate the children of South Africa would be available, but at the same time we need to uplift the communities and reduce the crime around the schools. **For more info** Contact: gunther@gwacorp.co.za Show less
