My designation with Biking Singapore is as a Marketing cum Coaching Intern. As an intern, I was tasked with managing the social media page for the company and involve with coaching of the classes itself. Other than managing the company’s official Instagram page and coaching, I am also writing meaningful articles that are related to the company, other tasks includes photography, videography, and video editing. I was also tasked with assisting with videography for a marketing campaign, assisting with our Virtual Learn to Cycle Live programme with MR Tony Loo as part of our strategic movement towards digitalizing the company amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite being hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, we emphasized on working together with another local company, Aleoca Pro Pte Ltd, to support one another during this trying times which I have fond memories of. Working together, we managed to produce four short videos which helped generate viewership and raised awareness for SMEs like us. One of my other job scope includes taking minutes of meeting from our partner, Little Day Out (Big Little Company Pte Ltd) and also took initiative to plan out an online lesson for the client. To further elaborate, we have initiated extensive social media marketing, such as jumping onto the bandwagon of trending social media posts such as the Instagram Story Bingo, Tik-Tok Platform and conducted Facebook LIVE sessions. With our social media being updated almost every day during the Circuit Breaker and Phase 1 period, it proves to be a success as soon after Phase 2 reopening, there were immediate enquiries of availability of classes and multiple collaborations with Instagram Influencers which helped further boost our brand awareness as a company. As soon as we were given the green light to operate and conduct our classes with strict safety measures imposed, I was ready to be back on track to coach classes and liaising with Instagram Influencers.
