  TeamSports4All (TS4A) helps socio-economically disadvantaged children aged 5-18yrs participate in club sport in their community – children from the poorest and most marginalised parts of our society. We know playing sport makes a huge difference to kids and their families. We all know that sport leads to a more active life and improved mental and physical health, but being part of a team and club also reduces social isolation, helps children and families to make valuable community connections, exposes children to a range of positive role models, and has been shown to reduce children's involvement in criminal activity and drug use. The support of TS4A makes it possible. We get these children started in team sport by connecting them with a local team, getting them registered and paying the team/activity fees for them, introducing them to the team manager & coach, providing them with clothing, footwear, equipment and uniforms, and then providing ongoing support to ensure they keep playing. From little things, big things grow. Since our founding in 2011 through to 2019, all of the families supported by TS4A were from a small part of South East Melbourne. In 2020 and 2021 we expanded to cover a larger portion of that same region. Now, with a decade of experience under our belt, we are ready to accelerate our expansion and support more kids throughout Melbourne. And once that has been achieved, we plan to cover all of Victoria - and eventually all of Australia.
