I worked with Eric for nearly four years at The Coca-Cola Company where he was the head of the Architecture Board for both International and North American systems. In our time together Eric was tasked with guiding the IT strategy as the Enterprise Architect with overall responsibility for moving legacy data center and hosted systems into a Cloud hosing model. This endeavor was a mission critical business priority with very aggressive timelines. It is common for someone in Eric's position to be at odds with my role as security architect and information risk representative especially in such a time-sensitive, large scale, global undertaking. I could not have asked for a better leader for this effort. Eric was a fantastic leader, a great collaborative partner, and an advocate for doing the job right. He always listened to all perspectives and made tough calls when necessary. I look forward to working with him again if/when our paths cross in the future.

Through Eric's direction his team of architects created and kept a comprehensive library of all of CCE's application systems and their interdependencies. They provided guidance and recommendations for all key projects. Eric in particular had both global and specific application knowledge of CCE's custom and vendor provided application systems. Eric was responsible for determining/guiding the current application portfolio towards the future architectural vision (short term and long term). Eric's wealth of legacy system knowledge and experience was was integral in CCE simplyfying it's portfolio and saving millions in opex.
