  Oligosaccharides play important roles in biological processes such as cell-cell interactions, target recognition, inflammation and infection. We are interested in the synthesis of 3-O-methyl mannose polysaccharide (MMP) precursors required for biosynthetic studies on mycobacteria. In this project a one-pot glycosylation reaction will be developed and optimised with different glycosyl donors and acceptors.
