  Topic of my Ph.D. thesis was "Studies on efficient transportation of Indian heavy crude oils through offshore pipelines". I worked on improvement of flow behavior of Heavy Crude Oils for pipeline transportation. I did research work on developing new surfactants for preparation of heavy crude oil-in-water emulsions, so that the favorable rheological properties could be achieved for pipeline transportation.
