As a foster parent, the most stressful time part is being confident that the child’s advocacy team will be supportive of the child and your family. When Desirie worked with Arrow she was the case manager for my home. During that time, I was always supported. I never doubted that she’s answer if something urgent came up and I always felt like I had a partner while raising my bonus kids. I was incredibly fortunate to have such an informative social worker to guide me in how to effectively serve the youth in our community.
