  RAF WO - SEMSCo Safety Management System Coordinator (SEMSCo) Dates Employed: March 2018 - Present Station Error Management System Coordinator (SEMSCo) responsible for the management and co-ordination of the Station Error Management System on behalf of the DDH. Working as part of the Air Safety Team my responsibilities include: Collection, management and progress of error reports and In-Forms. Assisting the LEMSCo community in seeking solutions to reported issues. Promoting safe working practices. The effective operation and administration of the Safety Management System (SMS). Office management and administration. Monitoring the Air Safety Information Management System (ASIMS) for Air/Flight safety issues. Data analysis of Defence Air Safety Occurrence Report (DASOR), Defence Aviation Error Management System (DAEMS) and Informs for Air/Flight safety trending purposes. Peer review and conducting Occurrence Safety Investigations. Chair, monitor and provide administrative assistance for regular LEMSCo forums which ratify and update Station In-Form reports. Briefing senior management, highlighting current trends, issues, statistics & ongoing Occurrence Safety Investigations. Responsible for managing Occurrence Review Group recommendations, ensuring appropriate ownership, assurance, monitoring, implementation and sustainment. My job title is “WO Logistics” and my role is as a Logistics SME specialising in Air Movements.I work alongside KPMG, ARUP and other civilian consultants with the development of an Enhanced Operating Model (EOM) for RAF Brize Norton.I am currently working on several work packages including: Airport (Cargo, Pax, Ramp) as well assisting with other Logistics work streams. This involved data gathering followed by the design and implementation of revised safety procedures to promote safer working practices during aircraft turnround activities. Although the initial conception was to concentrate on the recently introduced Airbus A330, the scope was broadened to include all current RAF AT.
