Outline: Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner. Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied. Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.Key Responsibilities and skills aquired: - Results-oriented, I had to be very target-driven and motivated by achieving objectives, I got lots of praise for delivering all my deliveries on time and safely.- I often had to work under pressure, this meant I had to manage stress as part of the job and make sure the deliveries were to the right place despite challenging weathers, times and environments.- I had to be resilient during setbacks in the job and developed this skill due to unforeseen complications on the job.- I developed great customer service skills and interpersonal skills with usually interacting with over 30 customers per day. I ensured each client was happy with what they received and that I delivered the best possible service.- Time management was essential as was being flexible. I had to work out the quickest route when making deliveries and balanced my work and study commitments. I had to also stick to strict time-slots and optimise clients experiences.- I had to be a self-motivator and have self-discipline. I improved my conscientiousness and my ability to motivate myself by staying logged on to receive notifications of deliveries even when it is dark, cold and raining hard.
