Head of department responsible for demand planning, forecasting, production scheduling, purchasing of raw materials and ingredients and optimizing plant capacity. Developed a series of key performance indicators to measure the performance of the department and the factory as a whole. Performance to schedule improved significantly while excess inventory and out of stock situations reduced resulting in improved customer service.Updated the existing excel based planning tools to improve planning accuracy and efficency. Slow moving WIP reduced from over 25% to below the target of 10%.

Significantly reduced warehouse capacity issues by placing focus on individual areas rather than warehouse as a whole. Constrained areas fell from 17 out of 30 to an average of 2.Improved finished pallet quality to meet CIMAT automated warehouse standard.
