Colleen is organized, thoughtful, and polished. She is truly an exceptional young development professional. I worked with Colleen at Boston Children’s Hospital Trust from 2017-2018, though I first met her at a Dance Marathon Leadership Conference when we were both in college. In our time working together, Colleen consistently impressed me with her initiative to tackle tough business-wide problems. After identifying that a number of DAs across our office were unhappy with the way their reporting needs weren’t being met, Colleen assembled a DA task force to meet and analyze each report we use regularly and identify the changes that needed to be made. She presented her findings to the reporting team and they are currently in the process of making updates. This is just one of the number of instances where Colleen took initiative, outside of her designated role, to make the business practices of the office more effective and efficient. Colleen is a fantastic colleague, respected and valued by all levels of the BCHT organization, and will make an excellent addition to her next team.
