Claus and I bonded over rock n'roll. He's a big fan and so am I. I got to know of his many skills, talents and innovative business ideas through 3 long holidays spent at the Kavos Bay Hotel, Aegina, Greece with many other friends. His energy and his intellect are very impressive, as are his people skills, which are unsurpassed. I got to know many clever and interesting people through Claus, who is generous with his time and his connections. I am proud to have such a fine academic and fun guy as a friend. I endorse him as truly Ethical, hardworking and well-informed professional.

Irene Krassas

A serious professional, a man that honors his word. Well educated, very intelegent and low profile. Clear business minded, self confident, sincere and ambitious.

The Institute was initiated as a collaboration between Copenhagen Business School, Denmark and Cass Business School, London. From 2007-2011 the administrative support was located as Cass Business School from which it moved to Copenhagen, Denmark. We help universities improve learning-centred higher education. We do research, consultancy, and publishing. We explicitly work to improve learning-centred higher education for the benefit of students’ learning outcomes, self-development, and employability. We support higher education institutions in their move from a traditional paradigm with content-based syllabus-driven didactic teaching to a learning-centred paradigm with a focus on the relationship between curriculum development, teaching and study methods, and students’ learning outcomes. It is our underlying argument that such a shift in higher education benefits student learning and facilitates students’ self-development of higher-order thinking skills and transferable competencies. We organise international symposiums about learning-centred higher education in close collaboration with universities around the world. We have worked with Stellenbosch University, University of Michigan, University of Technology Sydney, University of Akureyri, Birmingham City University, University of Adelaide, Stockholm School of Economics Riga, Copenhagen Business School, Cass Business School London.
