  As a Youth Specialist I work directly with the children, helping them with basic everyday needs. This includes cooking, cleaning, social interaction, and educational goals. Working with Whaley I have been CPR certified, trained in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI), and exposed to the various dynamics of a child who has been abused or neglected. I have worked on forming anger management groups and had the opportunity to understand case files, and the behavior plans of individual children.
