My research was focus on the development of new materials for proton conducting fuel cells carried out under the frame of the Norwegian funded project FOXCET in collaboration with University of Oslo and SINTEF as well as other international partners. My main task were the synthesis, development and full characterisation of new oxide materials with suitable proton conductivity properties to use as electrodes for proton conducting solid oxide fuel cells. I was also involved in the supervision of several PhD and Master students as well as in teaching in my Department.

During my time in Vitoria, my research was focus on the development of new materials for both Lithium-ion and Metal-Air Batteries. I was working on the synthesis of these new materials by a wide range of different techniques as well as their both structural and electrochemical characterisation with the help of several techniques such as, among others, XRD, TEM, SEM, EIS, and CV.

My research fields are Solid Oxide Fuel/Electrolysis Cells and Lithium Batteries. As Chemist and Material Scientist, I am interested on the materials forming these devices. Here at Risø, my research focused on the development of new electrode materials and their both structural and electrochemical characterisation by pre-mortem, testing and post-mortem analyses of both full and symmetrical cells using several techniques such as EIS, XRD and SEM.
