Bruce is someone who always strives to make a difference, to help people, in everything he does - one only needs to see the significant volunteer activities he is and has been involved in to get an idea of his sense of service and community-spirit. Aside from this, Bruce is just a pleasure to deal with.

I often work with Bruce by phone. He is just the loveliest person to talk with and work with - always grateful and kind. I always feel better if I've talked with Bruce.

I was invited by Bruce to present at the Primex Field Days in 2018, as the then, CEO for Beef Australia Limited which is the triennial Expo held in Rockhampton. I was impressed with Bruce’s passion not only for the Primex event, but for the beef and primary industries located around Casino and throughout the North Coast Region. Under some challenging conditions, Bruce has successfully rebuilt and grown Primex over the past 30 years. Most significantly in recent years evolving the event with strategic vision, introducing and investing in initiatives that grow and sustain relationships and B2B connections. Quickly adopting to the range of new technologies, not afraid of hard work, building networks and thinking outside the square are some of his strengths. This was evident with his genuine interest in and responses from all stakeholders that I saw visiting Primex, by how warmly he was greeted as we walked around the event. Bruce is the sort of person you want to be and have around. His time and understanding and communication through agribusiness means there’s always something new to learn and I feel he would be successful at whatever he turns his hand to and the connection that remains is a reflection of him being genuine relationship builder.

The success of the Wallabies dictated a very significant project and budget with the Rugby World Cup (William Webb Ellis Cup - aka 'BILL'), Bledisloe Cup and a range of trophies that highlighted the Wallabies dominance in World Rugby during the period. WSMS identified and project managed Australian Rugby road show and schedule, referred to as the "Bill's Back Tour". In the first phase, WSMS coordinated the tender process, development of design and fit out and delivery of the presentation nationally, with the ARU pressing the 'green light' following the Wallabies RWC win in November 1999.
