      My work as a postgraduate at the University of Bradford has given me a wide range of skills in both analytical and wet chemistry and in administration and project co-ordination. I have extensive experience working with Raman spectroscopy instruments – Bruker IFS66 FT-IR with FRA106 Raman module, Renishaw InVia Raman spectrometer with variable wavelength, Renishaw portable Raman analyser, RX210, Kaiser Holoprobe Raman spectrometer. Specialised IT programs used for spectral processing using Galactic GRAMS v7.1, Renishaw Wire 2.0 and Bruker OPUS software. My experience includes working with solid and liquid samples, bench and remote probed instruments, at ambient temperature and temperature-controlled experiments. General synthetic inorganic chemistry including Schlenk techniques. Preparation of polysulfanes, polysulfides and sulfonated species. As part of the industrial sponsorship, monthly summaries and quarterly reports were submitted to the project sponsors. Also oral presentations were given quarterly. I was also a mentor to final year and MChem. project students. Other techniques used include NMR, powder XRD and UV/Vis spectrometry.
