Azra Kacapor Nurkic
Ben and I worked together on an exciting new project working with conflict affected youth and vulnerable children in Northern Uganda while he was at World Learning. Ben was one of three Project Steering Committee members and I was directing the effort for WL's International Development Unit. Ben was in charge of all representation related tasks and in-country oversight and coordination of the project including management of the local partner organization on behalf of World Learning. We could not have chosen a better person then Ben for this role as he is directly responsible for much of this project's success. He is extremely articulate, knowledgeable, well networked and widely respected. He has a thorough understanding of Ugandan context, the culture, wider region and it's development issues and challenges. . Above all, Ben is such a pleasure to work with.
