Engr. Benjamin is a proven technocrat with a wide range of expertise in the field of renewable energy. He is an amiable person. He is diligent, hardworking, and yet humble. He is a go-to person and a charismatic leader. He was my facilitator at AFYEL renewable energy program. I really learned a lot from him, particularly his leadership acumen. I know he will do well in the field of renewable energy, especially in the development of solar PV and wind energy systems, the sky is only but a stepping stone.

I have known Engr. Benjamin Gomado when I started training at "Africa Fellowship for Young Energy Leaders-AFYEL 2022/23 cohort 2" program in October 2022, where I was an AFYEL Fellow, and he has been the Program Facilitator. Benjamin was always there to support and encourage me when I need any help regarding the fellowship course contents and even beyond in my career development in the Renewable Energy sector. He always go above and beyond to explain questions I have regarding any of the four Renewable Energy modules ( Solar PV, Bioenergy, Wind energy, and hydropower) that the Fellowship is about. He is well adept in Solar photovoltaic, Bioenergy, Hydropower and Wind Energy Engineering, and non-Engineering aspects like economics, business, policy etc of renewable energy. The weekly forum discussion questions he moderates in the AFYEL Forum discussion platform witness his rich, deep, practical, and resourceful professionalism. In addition, Benjamin is willing to support me in anything related to my career development like mentoring me regarding the Solar PV certification ( NABCEP PV Associate Degree) for Stardust even after the Fellowship. Benjamin has proven track records of interdisciplinary skills towards Renewable Energy Technologies. He would certainly be an ideal candidate for any work opportunities related to Renewable Energy technologies, RET policies, economics and finance as well as leadership positions, PhD opportunities in RET and beyond academic opportunities in global context. He is a disciplined and multifaceted Engineer with the right character and skills to produce desire results and even exceed expectations.

      • Reviewed and selected abstracts to be presented at the event • Created final schedule for a hybrid student-ran two-day symposium The Colorado WASH Symposium intends to provide a platform for sharing and expanding collective knowledge in water, sanitation, and hygiene in domestic and international contexts. The symposium brings together leaders and WASH practitioners in social enterprises, the private sector, NGOs, academia, and development agencies. The Colorado WASH Symposium is deliberately small and intimate - designed around in-depth conversations and unrushed sessions where each individual’s contribution is valued. The Colorado Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Conference is an annual student-organized event that brings together individuals engaged in WASH research and practice from the academic, practitioner, and NGO sectors.
