An entrepreneur to look up to! A true innovator and a visionary!
Raj Burman, FIOEE
Benjamin’s story is like no other and I have the immense pleasure of working with him upon his appointment to co-lead the Techfugees Uganda Chapter since its opening in March 2021. Congolese by birth, Benjamin became a refugee in Uganda since 2017 following natural disasters and political insecurities in his country. Following dark circumstances during his migration journey, he rose to change his life as an resolute changemaker working hands to build for refugee communities and founded YINNOH (YOUTH INNOVATION HUB) to empower displaced young people as creators and innovators providing them with the ability to turn their challenges into creating opportunities through entrepreneurship, self-discovery, and technology. Benjamin is an incredible person to have on the team who has experience in strategic project management, team-working, business mentoring, life coaching, training of trainers and enabling key partnerships. Moreover his love for music, ability to build hand-on with tenacity and persistence coupled with his duty-to-care towards others makes him unique to stand out from the crowd and a great person for any organisation fortunate enough to have him on onboard.
